High potential finance manager to partner with Manufacturing to drive capital and cost efficiency, process improvement and inventory control. Global leader with excellent career potential.

Our client is an ASX global leader with substantial operations around the world. The local Head Office is in Sydney.

An opportunity has become available for a high potential Finance Manage who can leverage a strategic partnership with the Manufacturing team. Working in a technically driven business you will enjoy the challenge of understanding the business drivers and building effective relationships with non-F&A managers. This is an ideal pathway into more senior financial management roles.This is a high profile role and success here will position you for accelerated career growth within the company.

As Finance Business Partner, Manufacturing, you will have responsibility for

  • Strategic input into manufacturing decisions as the key F&A representative
  • NPV analysis of new product investment and high value capital spending projects.
  • Presentation of financial results and updated forecasts to senior management
  • Product costing
  • Inventory and capital expenditure control
  • Working closely with senior non-F&A managers to drive business performance improvement

The key challenges are

  • Winning the support of senior non-F&A management and influencing people outside of your control
  • Driving financial improvements in manufacturing
  • As the successful candidate you will demonstrate:
  • CA/CPA with around 10 years work experience gained in a global or large Australian company
  • Sound manufacturing experience with experience in product costing
  • Exceptional analytical skills to financially assess new product investments and capital expenditure
  • Confidence and interpersonal skills to lead, influence and win the support of managers outside of your control
  • Leadership and initiative to drive projects
  • Exceptional communication skills – formal management presentations and written business proposals
